Thoughts On Deathly Hallows

unusualdemonessOMG, I just got back from Harry Potter. IT WAS AWESOME. I don't want to say too much and spoil anybody, but it was epic. And, ugh, fucking cliffhanger. Now I have to wait for the summer to see the rest. :( This is the challenge with having a two part movie, although there's a lot more of it and in a year when they're all out on dvd I'll be pretty happy with the extra film time.
I wish I could go back and see it again! I'd even repress my hatred of movie theaters, I loved it that much. :)
There were a few things that confused me a bit, like the scene in the tent after Ron left when Harry and Hermione danced. What was the point of it? It just seemed really random. It's my guess that the writers are Harry/Hermione shippers, y/y? And man, there was shipping moments for everyone I'm not even kidding. Didn't matter who you shipped, it was all in there. :D
I was also a bit sad that they stuck so close to the book on the deaths. Hedwig and Dobby and Moody had to die. :( But they didn't kill Wormtail! That was a big scene in the book and it seemed like he was still alive after it in the movie. :( I wonder if they're doing something with him in the second half of the movie than.
Ooh, and the cartoon-ish scene, where they read the story of the Deathly Hallows was awesome. It looked just like an old woodcutting and I loved it.
That's all I can think of now. I just, I really loved it. :)
